MORANG, Feb. 13 -- A suspicious object resembling a bomb was found near Durga Chowk in BiratThe suspicious object, described as a pressure cooker tied with tape, was found on Monday evening between a mango tree and a house.

After the suspicious object was found, the police provided security throughout the night and restricted the movement of people around the incident site.

DSP Chedilal Kamti, spokesperson at District Police Office, Morang, said that a team of the Nepali Army personnel arrived at the scene to dispose of the suspicious object.

He said that the preliminary investigation revealed that the group which was spreading terror to private schools and other businesses placed the suspicious items.
