TIKAPUR, Jan. 21 -- A man in Janaki Rural Municipality-7 of Tikapur apparently committed suicide after hacking his wife to death with an axe on Sunday. However, police are not convinced that he committed suicide and have taken five persons under custody for investigation.
Prem Lal Chaudhary, 35, of Golauri allegedly struck his wife with an axe on her head and then killed himself too. According to police, Chaudhary's neighbors tied him with a rope after he killed his wife. During police interrogation, the neighbors stated that they tried to bring him under control fearing that he would attack others as well.
