KATHMANDU, Dec. 2 -- Dipendra Karki of Surkhet has bagged 'Krishi Tara Award'. The award provided jointly by the Embassy of Israel and Avsar foundation - an NGO initiated by Khetan Family - aims at honoring deserving Nepali farmers or agri-entrepreneurs contributing in agriculture sector through use of innovations, technologies and skills learnt in Israel under 'Learn and Earn Program'. The award carrying a purse of Rs 500,000 and a certificate was handed over to Karki amid a ceremony held on Thursday.
