Nepal, May 19 -- A Summit Air Twin Otter aircraft (Flight No. 301), en route from Kathmandu to Lukla, was forced to return mid-flight due to a technical issue and landed safely at Tribhuvan International Airport.
According to airport spokesperson Rinjin Sherpa, the problem was detected near Phaplu in Solukhumbu. Following standard safety procedures, the pilot opted to turn back, successfully landing the aircraft in Kathmandu at 7:24 AM.

Technicians later identified an engine-related issue and are currently working on necessary repairs. The aircraft was carrying 19 people, including crew members, and all passengers are reported safe.
