Nepal, July 15 -- The 13th general meeting of the Senate of Sudurpaschim University has approved an estimated budget of Rs 1.54 billion for the upcoming Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26.

The meeting held at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar, Kathmandu on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister and Chancellor KP Sharma Oli, endorsed the budget and programs presented by the university's Registrar, Prof. Dr. Binod Lekhak, with amendments.

Chancellor Oli urged the university to maintain sound financial discipline and instructed that future budgets be presented based on realistic assessments.
