KATHMANDU, June 20 -- The Ministry of Health, along with the Tribhuvan University (TU), has reached an agreement to provide medical treatment facilities to TU students and faculty at federal hospitals and institutions.

According to the agreement signed in the presence of Minister for Health and Population Pradip Paudel and TU Vice Chancellor Dr Khadga KC, treatment services will be provided at all federal hospitals and institutions with 90 percent covered by TU's medical fund and 10 percent as individual contribution.

The agreement also states that TU will encourage its faculty and students to enroll in health insurance.
