DHANGADI, June 6 -- A strong storm has hit Kailali and Kanchanpur on Thursday evening. The storm that hit at around 8 pm has destroyed the area.
According to the preliminary report, at least 14 people have been injured, said DSP Suraj KC, chief of the provincial police office. It has been reported that the wind has uprooted trees and electricity poles and have demolished walls of many homes. The supply of electricity has been disrupted in the area.
The injured have been rushed to the hospital for the treatment.
Meanwhile, the National Emergency Operation Centre has tweeted and informed that the storm has destroyed en masse in the area.
