Nepal, June 24 -- Passengers who were stranded at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) following flight cancellations to Gulf countries have begun flying to their destinations after Qatar reopened its airspace.
Nepal Airlines' Doha-bound flight scheduled for 11:30 PM on Monday was canceled due to escalating tensions in the region. Similarly, Himalayan Airlines' flight to Qatar was also canceled, leaving many passengers stuck at the airport overnight.
