Nepal, June 4 -- The statements recording of 39 individuals including 'People's Commander' Durga Prasai, appointed by the 'Joint People's Movement Committee,' have been completed in the case filed against those accused of involvement in the violent protest at Tinkune, Kathmandu, on March 28.

The protest at Tinkune, led by Prasai, turned violent, resulting in the deaths of two people, arson at private homes, government vehicles, and a medicinal herb processing center. The case is being heard in the Kathmandu District Court before Judge Dhruvraj Karki. Out of 50 accused, only 39 have appeared in court.
