KATHMANDU, March 14 -- A total of six lawmakers did not take part in the voting when Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal sought the vote of confidence from the House of Representatives (HoR) meeting on Wednesday.

Currently, there are 274 MPs in the House of Representatives. Of them, 268 MPs took part in the voting when Dahal received the vote of confidence in parliament.

Dahal received the vote of confidence for the third time as the Prime Minister. A total of 157 MPs voted for him as the prime minister. These include 74 lawmakers from the CPN-UML. The UML has 77 MPs in the House of Representatives.
