Nepal, April 16 -- An aircraft belonging to Sita Air was forced to make an emergency landing at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Wednesday morning after experiencing a hydraulic system failure.
The aircraft, which had taken off from Lukla en route to Ramechhap with 14 passengers on board, was diverted to Kathmandu after a technical issue was detected mid-flight, according to TIA officials.

Following the landing, the aircraft was towed to the parking bay by a tractor due to the failure in its hydraulic system. The Dornier aircraft, with call sign 9N-AIE, showed a loss of hydraulic pressure, as indicated by the cockpit indicator.
