Nepal, March 25 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Tuesday nosedived 58.05 points to close at 2,582.73 points.

The secondary market opened at 2,640.78 points. The market that gained around 12 points in the pre-opening session however went to a straight fall during the main trading period. The market index fell to the day's low at 2,582.1 points when trading time was left for 20 minutes.

All the 13 trading groups were the losers in the intraday trading. Non-life insurance plunged by the largest of 301.34 points, while a total of seven groups witnessed a decline of three-digit points in their market indices.
