Nepal, Jan. 4 -- The severed head of forest guard Rameeshwor Mahato, who was brutally murdered in Ishworpur of Sarlahi district, has been recovered.
Mahato, who was working as a forest guard at the Sagarnath Forest Project under Ishworpur Municipality, was found murdered with his throat slit on Saturday (January 3). His headless body had been discovered earlier that day.
According to the District Police Office, Sarlahi, information officer and DSP Saroj Rai, Mahato's head was found on Sunday afternoon about 100 meters away from the site where the body was recovered.
A special police team, along with two sniffer dogs, had been deployed from Lalgadh in Dhanusha to investigate the murder. Police said one person has been arrested on suspicio...
