DHARAN, Dec. 8 -- Police have arrested seven individuals in connection with the murder of a city safari (rickshaw) driver in Sunsari. They were taken into custody for their alleged involvement in the shooting of driver Dinesh Kumar Chaudhary on October 12 in Karmaniya, Ramdhuni Municipality-2.

According to Sunsari District Police Chief SP Keshav Kumar Thebe, the arrested have been identified as Raj Kishor Sah, 43, of Ramdhuni-1, Nanda Kishor Sah, 40, of Ramdhuni-1, Ankit Sah, 28, of Rajbiraj Municipality-16, Saptari, Prince Kumar Das, 28, of Rajbiraj, Mohammad Ibran Miya, 34, of Bhokraha Narsingh-5, Giyas Mansuri, 37, of Dewangunj-4, and Mithilesh Yadav, 25, of Dewangunj-5.
