KATHMANDU, Feb. 18 -- Foreign Minister Dr ArzU Rana Deuba has said that two senior Nepali officials have reached the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) University in Odisha, India to help Nepali students.
Minister Rana said that the death of Nepali student Prakriti Lamsal in the university hostel and the subsequent developments are being closely followed up, and two senior officials have reached the university on Tuesday morning.
She said, "Two senior Nepal Police officials from the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi have reached the university this morning to understand the situation of Nepali students and to create a safe environment for Nepali students in the college."
