KATHMANDU, Jan. 22 -- The National Examination Board (NEB) has decided to hold this year's Secondary Education Examination (SEE) from March 28 to April 9, 2024.

NEB Chairman Dr Mahashram Sharma said that the decision was made to conduct the SEE only after the conclusion of the Holi festival, which falls on March 24 and 25.

Despite the initial plan to hold the SEE exam in the second week of March, the Holi festival necessitated a postponement.

A significant number of students, totaling 4,89,444, have registered for this year's SEE examination.

Among them, 246,000 are male students, and 243,440 are female students.
