Schools with high number of students urged to run classes in shifts
KATHMANDU, April 16 -- The government has urged the schools with high numbers of students to run the classes in shifts in view of the rising risk of the COVID-19 infection across the country.
Issuing a public statement on Friday, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology directed those concerned not to hold any sort of gatherings/events at the educational institutions. The list of activities that are restricted by the ministry includes assemblies, ceremonies and anniversaries where a large number of people gather.
The educational institutions have also been directed to adhere to the Framework for the Operation of Schools-2020 issued earlier by the ministry.
