KATHMANDU, April 21 -- The Supreme Court (SC) is set to conduct a hearing on a case filed by Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP) patron Resham Chaudhary against the party's chairwoman Ranjita Shrestha and the Election Commission (EC) today.

Earlier, the hearing was scheduled for April 12 for debate on an interim order. However, the hearing could not be held that day, and is still uncertain whether the debate will take place today.

Resham Chaudhary, who was elected chairman during the party's first convention in Tikapur, filed the case after the Election Commission did not grant him recognition.
