Nepal, June 10 -- The Supreme Court (SC) has directed Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel to submit written responses in a contempt of court case filed against them.

A division bench of Justices Til Prasad Shrestha and Nitya Nanda Pandey issued the order during a preliminary hearing on Tuesday, following a petition by senior advocate Dinesh Tripathi. The case stems from the reintroduction of a budget provision previously struck down by the court.
