KATHMANDU, Feb. 11 -- The Supreme Court (SC) has dismissed a writ petition challenging the construction of the Pathibhara cable car.

SC Registrar Bhadrakali Pokharel rejected the petition, citing that a similar case is already under consideration.

The petition was filed by Laxmi Tamang on behalf of the Indigenous Bar Association. However, the court refused to register it, stating that a writ petition on the same matter, filed by Aindra Kumar Limbu on 15 February 2021 on behalf of Kirat Yakthung Chumlung, is still pending along with a supplementary petition.
