KATHMANDU, Sept. 20 -- Police have arrested an additional six persons in connection with the Sankhuwasabha mass murder case that took place on September 6.

Earlier, Police had arrested Lok Bahadur Kari as the prime suspect of the incident in which Tej Bahadur Karki and five of his family members were brutally killed.

However, police have expanded the investigation further after investigation officials recovered a mobile phone belonging to Tej Bahadur's daughter-in-law Ranjana Karki from Lok Bahadur's brother Naresh Karki. Police have taken Naresh Bahadur Karki, his father, uncle, aunt and two sons into custody for their alleged involvement in the massacre.
