Nepal, June 2 -- As public transport entrepreneurs continue their strike, causing hardship for passengers, Sajha Yatayat has started operating its buses under armed police protection. The company took this step to ensure service for commuters amid the disruption of public transport due to the ongoing protest.

On Monday morning, 40 Sajha buses were deployed across the Valley. According to Sajha Yatayat, armed police personnel have been stationed on each bus for security.

They are ensuring the safety of both passengers and vehicles. The service began in the morning with 15 buses, and additional buses were deployed later in the day considering the high passenger demand and necessity.
