Nepal, Aug. 28 -- Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader Arnico Panday, who was arrested by the Nepal Police on Wednesday, has been sent to four days of judicial custody.

SP Deepak Raj Awasthi of the Cyber Bureau of Nepal Police told Republica that the Kathmandu District Court allowed police to keep him in custody for further investigation.

Panday, also a former member of the National Planning Commission, was charged with 'character assassination' of a woman via the social media platform WhatsApp and through email.
