Kathmandu, Jan. 31 -- The opposition Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has asked the government to withdraw the bill related to Operation, Use and Regulation of Social Networking Sites, 2081 BS, which has been registered in the National Assembly by the government.

On Thursday, the RSP issued a press statement urging the government to immediately recall the bill and reintroduce it after incorporating public feedback.

"We urge the government to immediately withdraw the bill and rewrite it as per the constitutional norms and values by holding consultations with the direct and indirect stakeholders," read the statement.
