Nepal, March 29 -- The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has demanded a thorough investigation into the incidents that occurred during the royalist protests in the capital on Friday. A Central Executive Committee meeting of the party held at the party's office in Dhumbarahi called for the establishment of an independent judicial commission to probe the events at Tinkune.
RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden informed that the meeting issued a 24-hour ultimatum for the unconditional release of Vice Chairman Rabindra Mishra and General Secretary Dhawal SJB Rana. He further emphasized that if the leaders are not released, the party will organize protests nationwide and escalate the issue into a full-scale movement.
