Rights bodies accuse Nepal of stalling justice for conflict-era crimes
KATHMANDU, Nov. 21 -- As the country marks the 14th anniversary of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) reached between the government and the then Maoist rebels on Saturday, two human rights watchdogs have alleged authorities in Nepal are preventing police and prosecutors from pursuing conflict-era cases of human rights violations, undermining the rule of law and efforts for security sector reform.
