Nepal, Jan. 19 -- The Office stated that registration of 13 cooperatives was nullified during the first six months of the current fiscal year and 13 others in the last fiscal year.

The Office of the Cooperative Registrar in Pokhara scrapped registration of 26 cooperatives. Registrar of Office, Bheshraj Rijal, said cooperatives failing to submit reports of financial details and general assembly, those not carrying out their audit reports and those remaining inactive for two consecutive fiscal years were scrapped.

Cooperatives revoked are of agriculture, multipurpose, savings and credit, consumers, beekeeping, information and media, electricity and others. It is said that the highest number of cooperatives being revoked are from Syangja. ...
