Nepal, July 23 -- A fresh hearing date has been set for suspended CPN-UML Secretary and former Deputy Prime Minister Top Bahadur Rayamajhi in the fake Bhutanese refugee scam.
Kathmandu District Court has scheduled the next hearing for August 3, following the completion of statements from complainants and witnesses. Rayamajhi, who has been in pre-trial detention for over two years, was arrested in connection with a high-profile case involving fake documents, fraud and organized crime. He was made one of the defendants after the main accused including Keshav Dulal, Sanu Bhandari and Sandesh Sharma, were charged.
