Nepal, July 8 -- At least 18 people have gone missing in Rasuwa after a flood triggered by heavy rainfall in China. Among the missing are nine Nepali citizens, eight Chinese nationals, and three police personnel.

According to the District Administration office, a team comprising the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force has rescued nine individuals stranded in the middle of the river. Additionally, one police officer, however, managed to contact authorities and confirmed he is safe on an island in the river.
