KATHMANDU, May 31 -- The Kathmandu administration enforced a prohibitory order in the Narayanhiti Durbar Museum area for 39 days starting today (Saturday).
Chief District Officer Rishiram Tiwari announced that the authorities have banned gatherings of more than five people from July 1 to July 8 for protests such as sit-ins, demonstrations, blockades, rallies, and assemblies in the designated area.
He specified that the prohibited zone stretches from Keshar Mahal Chowk to the southern gate of Narayanhiti Durbar Museum up to Jai Nepal Mod, and from Mahendra Statue to the museum's southern gate.
