KATHMANDU, Feb. 16 -- The Home Ministry formed an investigation committee to probe the balloon explosion incident in Pokhara.

On Sunday morning, a ministerial-level decision appointed an eight-member investigation committee, with Kaski Chief District Officer Bharatmani Pandey as the chief.

Pokhara Metropolitan City's Chief Administrative Officer Shiva Raj Chaulagai, Kaski's Chief of Police, Superintendent of Police Shyam Babu Oliya, Chief of the 24th Armed Police Battalion Headquarters, Superintendent of Armed Police Surya Prasad Timilsina, Deputy Investigation Director of the National Investigation District Office Suresh Kumar Tiwari, and Kaski's Assistant Chief District Officer Ganga Bahadur Chhetri are the members of the committee. ...
