Nepal, May 8 -- Indian police reported that no complaint has been filed in relation to the death of Nepali student Prisha Shah, who was studying at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
According to a Bhubaneswar police officer investigating her suicide, Prisa's family requested proper investigation and justice, but no formal complaint has been submitted. An Odisha police office source mentioned, "Prisha's father, Shyamlal Sah Kalwar, stated that he had no suspicions, so the Odisha police did not want to cause unnecessary trouble. He left with the death certificate."
