KATHMANDU, April 19 -- President Bidya Devi Bhandari will pay a week-long State Visit to China from April 24, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Friday.

This is going to be the first visit of Bhandari to the northern neighbour since she began her second stint as the president in March, 2018.

The president will visit China at the invitation of her counterpart Xi Jinping. During the visit, Bhandari is scheduled to attend the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation to be held in Beijing and address the Forum, according to the ministry.
