Nepal, April 1 -- The postmortem of late Sabin Maharjan, who died during Tinkune protest, has been conducted. It has been revealed that he was shot.

During the autopsy conducted at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital today, it was revealed that Maharjan had been shot. According to police, the bullet was found to have entered near his right elbow and exited from his back, near the abdomen.

On March 28, the police opened fire after tensions escalated at the protest site. Police stated that he was shot while traveling from Tinkune to Koteshwor Chowk. The body of Maharjan has been handed over to his family.

Following the post-mortem, preparations are being made to perform his last rites at Pashupati Aryaghat today.
