KATHMANDU, March 1 -- The post-mortem report of the girl who died in a hostel in Chitwan is expected to be available by Monday.

After the family of the girl expressed doubts about conducting the post-mortem in Chitwan, the girl's body was sent for a post-mortem to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu.

Ramesh Bista, a police inspector at the Tandi Area Police Office overseeing the investigation, said that it will take until Monday for the post-mortem report to be available. The investigation will then proceed based on the received report.

Bista informed Republica that the news circulating on social media is not accurate, stating that the actual post mortem report will be available on Monday.
