Nepal, June 2 -- Nepal Police has warned ride-sharing companies against overcharging passengers, following widespread complaints of fare manipulation during the ongoing transport strike enforced by transport entrepreneurs.
Issuing a notice on Sunday, the police stated that they will take action against companies and drivers found charging arbitrary fares. They urged passengers to report any incidents of overcharging to the nearest traffic police office or by calling 103.
