KATHMANDU, April 20 -- Police have taken control of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden and Spokesperson as well as Member of Parliament Gyanendra Shahi from Singha Durbar on Sunday.

Along with them, RPP Vice Chairman Buddhi Man Tamang and MP Deepak Singh, among others, have also been taken control by the police. They had staged an anti-government protest from within the premises of the party's parliamentary office at Singha Durbar.

The RPP is currently holding demonstrations in the Capital demanding the reinstatement of the monarchy. Before the protest, RPP lawmakers had gathered at the party's parliamentary office located in Singha Durbar.

The RPP plans to breach the restricted area from the very first day....
