Nepal, May 12 -- Police have seized goods worth over Rs 820 million that were smuggled to evade taxes over a three-month period.

According to the police, they confiscated items valued at Rs 825.89 million involved in revenue evasion from mid-January (Magh) to mid-April (Chaitra).

During various operations and routine inspections, police confiscated gold, silver, hundi money, clothing and other items. Those arrested in connection with these seizures have been handed over, along with the confiscated goods, to the concerned authorities for further action.
