Nepal, April 22 -- A total of 225 bottles of narcotics hidden inside a vehicle's tire were seized during a security check in Hetauda, Makwanpur.

Police have arrested one individual in connection with the incident. The arrested individual has been identified as Mumtaz Miya, 24, of Parsa Bahudarmai Municipality-9, who was heading towards Kathmandu from Amlekhgunj, Bara.

According to authorities, the narcotics were discovered around 6:05 am on Saturday during a routine vehicle inspection at the Ratomate checkpoint along the East-West Highway. The inspection was conducted by a team from the Ratomate Police Post.
