Nepal, Aug. 7 -- Shankar Pokharel, General Secretary of the CPN-UML, has taken a veiled swipe at the CPN (Maoist Center), pointing out the lack of leadership change in the party since the establishment of the multi-party system.

At a time when internal debate is ongoing within the UML over leadership transition, Pokharel posted a comparative list on social media showing how leadership has evolved in major political parties-UML, Nepali Congress (NC), and the Maoist Center.

In his post, Pokharel listed five leaders who have led the UML, four from the NC, and only one-Pushpa Kamal Dahal-from the Maoist Center, suggesting that the latter has seen no change in top leadership since its inception.
