Nepal, April 22 -- The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has instructed all ministries, commissions, government bodies, and provincial offices to strictly enforce measures punishing employees who cause harm or loss through unwarranted delays in decision-making.
The directive follows the certification of the Corruption Prevention (First Amendment) Act, 2081 BS, by President Ramchandra Paudel on March 16, 2025. Section 17 of the Act specifically addresses "punishment for causing harm or loss by failing to make a decision."
