KATHMANDU, Aug. 27 -- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to visit China on August 30 to participate in the 25th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit.
The SCO summit will take place in Tianjin from August 30 to 31, with heads of member states in attendance. "The visit has been finalized, and preparations are in the final stages," said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lok Bahadur Paudel Chhetri.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization was established on June 15, 2001, in Shanghai by Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
