Nepal, March 28 -- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is set to address the Parliament meeting on March 31 to resolve the parliamentary obstruction following the government's decision to dismiss Kulman Ghising from the post of Managing Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority.
During a discussion held on Friday with Speaker Devraj Ghimire, leaders of the opposition parties and chief whips of the ruling parties reached the agreement to have PM Oli present the clarification for the dismissal.
The Cabinet meeting on Monday dismissed Ghising from his post in the state-owned power utility. Following his dismissal, opposition parties have obstructed Parliament, leading to a deadlock in the session.
