Nepal, July 23 -- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed dissatisfaction over what he described as unwarranted criticism surrounding minor delays in the construction of the Kirtipur Cricket Stadium, stating that such reactions overlook the substantial progress already made.

Responding to lawmakers' queries in Parliament on Wednesday, Prime Minister Oli defended the project, emphasizing that while procedural complications had caused some delays, the construction is now in its final stages.

"The stadium is being built; it's close to completion. But instead of being happy, people complain about a delay of two days," he said, "It might take two extra days, is that such a big issue?"
