Nepal, April 22 -- Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli has said that the Government of Nepal is committed to supporting the residents of Thame, Solukhumbu, who have been directly impacted by the effects of climate change.
Extending his best wishes to the "Mountaineers' Summit" organized in Thame village in the Everest region on the eve of the Sagarmatha Sambaad on Tuesday, PM Oli expressed that the government is always committed to addressing the hardships and suffering faced by the people of Thame due to climate change.
In his message, he said, "I hope that the conclusions drawn from this program will also make the discussions of the Sagarmatha Sambaad more meaningful."
