Nepal, Aug. 15 -- Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has raised the price of petrol while reducing the prices of diesel and kerosene. The revision follows new petroleum rates received from the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).
NOC Executive Director Chandika Prasad Bhatt said the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 2 per litre, whereas diesel and kerosene prices have been cut by Rs 1 per litre.

With the new rates, petrol in Kathmandu will cost Rs 161 per litre, and diesel and kerosene Rs 149 per litre. The revised prices will take effect from Saturday.
