KATHMANDU, April 21 -- A mother and son who were injured in a fire caused by an electrical current in a vehicle heading towards the Pathibhara area of Taplejung have been brought to Kathmandu for treatment.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rabi Rawal, the injured mother and son were flown to the HAMS Hospital in Kathmandu by an Annapurna helicopter.

The injured mother, 45-year-old Sabina Acharya, a resident of Lalitpur Metropolitan City-10, and her 10-year-old son, Abhiyam Acharya, were flown to Kathmandu.
