Nepal, May 22 -- The deadline for the task force formed to investigate 48 complaints, screened by the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of parliament which was led by Sanjay Gautam, has been extended.
The PAC meeting held on Thursday decided to extend the task force's deadline by one month. On March 20, the PAC formed various subcommittees. Among them, a task force led by Manish Jha was formed to look into complaints related to telecom, telecommunications, and television. Similarly, another task force, led by Gokul Banskota, was formed to investigate complaints related to the Ministry of Finance, illegal insurance, mobile banking, and MCC.
