Nepal, July 2 -- In the first six months of 2025, more than 550,000 foreign tourists visited Nepal, with Indian nationals topping the list of international arrivals.
According to the latest data released by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), a total of 577,689 foreign tourists visited the country between January and June 2025. During the same period last year, Nepal had welcomed 583,011 tourists. Despite the slight decline, Indian visitors remained the highest in number, with 147,839 arrivals. Historically, India has consistently been the largest source market for Nepal's tourism.
