Nepal, Sept. 7 -- KATHMANDU, Sept 7: The Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) has received more than 15,000 new complaints related to incidents that occurred during the conflict period.
At a press conference held in Kathmandu on Sunday, TRC officials stated that upon requesting complaints regarding extrajudicial circumstances and cases of rape or serious sexual violence, the commission received 15,191 new submissions.
The TRC had issued a three-month public notice inviting additional complaints.
